KEEN SALE AT EKETAHUNA. Competition was keen at tho weekly Eketahuna sale yesterday, when Dalgety and Co., Ltd., submitted a full yarding of .sheep, effecting .a total clearance at the following prices:—B.f. rapo lambs, 19s Id to 19s lOd; woolly w.f.w. lambs, 18s 6d to 19s 6d; medium woolly w.f.w. lambs, 16s to 16s 6d; small woolly w.f.w lambs, 10s to 12s 7d; shorn w.f.w. lambe, 17s to 17s 4d; medium shorn w.f.w. lambs, 14s to 14s 7d; small shorn w.f.w. lambs, 10s 4d to 12s 6d; small woolly w.f. ewe lambs, 18s 10s; small shorn w.f. ewe lambs, 17s 2d; medium b.f. lambs, 15e 6d to 16s 3d. MARKET REPORT. The Dominion Auctioneering Company, Palmerston North, report a largo yarding of pigs at their live stock fair held on Thursday. Good sorts were in particularly keen demand, with a consequent rising in prices as compared with last week’s. Porkers, in particular, were keenly sought after. Realisations were as follow: —Small veanerfi, from 12s to 15s; best weaners, 17s to 21s; csiipcs, 18s to 225; stores, up to 30s; light porkers, to 355; better porkers, up to 495. Prices for poultry showed a slight decline on recent realisations, which were as follow: —White hens, 2s to 4s; black hens, 4s to 6s; roosters and cockerels, 2-. 6d to 6s 6d; ducks, 2s 9d to ss; pullets, small, 4s to 6s; all prices being per pair.
