A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.

COMMITTEE MEETING. Mr 11. J. Lancaster presided at a meeting of the Feilding A. and P. Association, last evening, others present being Messrs F. J. Boddy, J. Knight, D. Younger, J. B. Bradley, C. Li. McClure, J. G. Eliott, H. B. Johnston, D. W. Reid, H. A. Stewart, J. M. Campbell, and H. D. Brewster.

The Manawatu A. and P. Association wrote thanking the Feilding Association for offering to assist with arrangements for the Koyal Show in Palmerston North next November. A letter was received from the Australian Trade Commissioner stating that it was his intention to arrange ior a display of Australian products at the association’s Show in February.

Use of the sheep ring pavilion at a fee of ten guineas, was granted to the Manawatu stud sheep sale committee for their annual sale in January-

A net debit balance of £2Bl 11s, as against £621 6s 2d at the same period last year, was disclosed by the financial statement for the month.

The president stated that that arrangements for a programme to be provided during the evening of the show were well in hand.

Mr Boddy reported that the work of altering the cattle pavilion was progressing very well, and that Mr Brewster had given valuable assistance in that connection.

The meeting decided to extend to Mr Brewster a hearty vote of thanks for his work. The president also voiced his appreciation of Mr Brewster’s services.

Mr C. S. Hay, of Masterton, is to

be invited to judge the dog trial competitions.

The meeting acknowledged the receipt of donations from Messrs H. J. Lancaster (£6 6s) and R. H. Buchanan (£1 16s). The appointment of a judge for the Jersey Oaks competition was left to tho president to arrange., Seasonal greetings were extended by the president to members, Miss D. Miller (secretary) and the Press. On behalf of members, Mr Eliott reciprocated.
