NEW ZEALANDER DIES.
IN SPANISH FIGHTING. Received December 9, 1.20 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 8. The three Englishmen who were killed in Madrid on December 7 include Mr Geoffrey Campbell Maclaurin, a New Zealander who graduated in .1934, with a scholarship. He opened a bookshop in Cambridge, whence ho went to Spain in November, without disclosing his destination. Ho was a member of the University Socialist Club. He had no relatives in England. Mr Maclaurin was a distinguished mathematician.
