RESTORATION OF CUTS. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Dec. 4. 1 The sailors and firemen’s and catering department panels of the National Maritime Board held a meeting in London to-day to consider an application by tho National Union of Seamen for the restoration of the balance of the 1932 cut in seamen’s wages. A cut of 10 per cent, was originally agreed upon in 1932, and threequarters of this had already been restored. It was agreed to-day that the remaining quarter, or 2.5 per cent., will be restored on January 1, 1937.
