SCISSORS POINT IN ELECTRIC IRON.
Finding that her electric iron had ceased to heat, Airs Isabella Boon (43), wife of Air Norman Boon, a ship’s officer, of Blyth, Northumberland, grasped the flex in one hand ana attempted to repair the damage by putting the point of her steel scissors into the socket. She had not switched the current off, and she received a fatal shock.
