CUBA ST. CHURCH.
SUNDAY SCHOOL FUNCTION. Last evening the children of the Cuba Street Methodist Sunday school were given a tea, after which a social hour was spent, the children giving various items. Mr J. Flowers (ventriloquist) gave the children much enjoyment with his talking doll. Attendance prizes won during the year by the scholars of the main school were presented by the school sujrerintendent (Mr J. O. Bomlace) to the following children: Pat O’Brien, Margaret Tit6all, Nancy Wing, Joan Gribo, Kona Collins, Betty Ktdward, Joan Luxmore, Beatrice Tuigey, June Cowlishaw, Margaret Boniface, Gwen ltedward, Marcia Jarrett, Mavis Passey, Hazel Johansen, Myrtle James, Hazel Ctollins, John Boniface, Kric Bailey and Jack Fisher. A special prize was awarded to Nancy YVdng, who gained full marks for attendance.
