SUNDAY SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY. The anniversary of the Baptist Sunday School was continued on Wednesday evening, when, after the children’s tea, a fine concert programme was given by the children. Tlic items consisted of -recitations, songs, and instrumental pieces interspersed with anniversary hymns. Dlany interested parents and friends were present. The sup-c-nn-t-endent (Dfr A. Crabbe) was in the chair, and in his remarks thanked first the parents for their assistance during the past year and the interest shown in the running of the three schools. This was appreciated by himself and the teaching staff. Ho also thanked tho teachers for their services so willingly ■rendered, and Dlrs Geo. Thompson and Dfr H. Radford, the organists, and Dir W. Wilby. the conductor. Dlrs L. E. Wilby presented the prizes to the successful scholars.
