RATES OF EXCHANGE. Received September 17, 11.0 a.m.LONDON, Sept. 16. The price of gold is now £6 17s 6}d per fine ounce. The dollar rate of exchange (Lon-don-New York) is now 5.06 and the franc rate (London-Paris) is now 76 27-32.
