TRAVEL BY AIR.
OFFER TO TRANSPORT RUGBY TEAM. Per Press Association. BLENHEIM, July 14. There is a possibility that, lor the first lime in the Dominion’s Rugby history, a football team will travel by air to play an interprovmcial match. Last night, the Marlborough Union appointed a sub-committee to consider a tender by Cook Strait Airways to convey its representative team to Wellington and back lor a match on September 26.
Air travel has already been used to a considerable extent by Marlborough sports bodies, particularly in connection with the conveyance of boxers.
