CARNARVON.
(From Our Own Cororspoiidcirt.) CARNARVON, July 14. On Friday evening the school held another of their popular card evenings, when a good number were present. The weather was very cold, but good fires added to the comfort'of the players. In the "SCO" seclion Misses \V. Clare and N. Scott, and Messrs 11. Wood and Searancho proved the winners. In the euchre, Mrs Gennills won the ladies' prize and Mr A. Keith the men's. A cake was donated by Mefsrfi Boniface Bros. Monte Carlo waltzes were won by Airs Quinlan and Mr Sasoni and Miss Haves and Mr R. Wood. Miss E. Hansen is visiting her parents in Dannevirke. Mr P. T. Scott ie spending a few days in Wellington.
