In intermittent rain on Saturday, afternoon teams from Wanganui and Rangitikei fired a match on tile Bells, range over 300yds (7 shots) and SQOycls (10 shots)._ the visitors winning easily by 37 points. Scores are as follow: —Wanganui: E. Earley, 33—49 —82; O. Gower, 35 —47—82* B. Shaw, 34—47—81; A. Doidge, 32—48 —80; I. Ford, 30-49—79; E. Solcf, 32—-47 —79; B. Shaw. 33 —46 —79; It. Bulls and Turakina Rugby juniors played on Saturday On a very heavy ground, Turakina winning by a penalty goal (kicked by Lane) to nil. The winners have been unbeaten this season, but were fully extended on Saturday..
