(From Uur Own Correspondent.) AORANGI, July 10. The local l’ing Pong Club played two matches aganst Alakmo last night, tho A team playing at Aorangi and the B team at Mukiuo. Both matches were won by Aorangi, the A team by 25 games lo 11, and the B team by 23 games to 13. At Aorangi, Mr D. Durie welcomed the visitors. Replying, Mr D. McGregor thanked the Aorangi players for the pleasant night’s sport, congratulated them ou their win, and expressed the hone that his team would, in the near future be able to welcome them at Makino for the return match. Cheers were exchanged. At Makino, Aliss J. .Thurston made the speech on behalf of the Makino team, Mr C. Fisher replying. Details o[ the A match follow, Aorangi players being mentioned first: —U. L.
