CREAM COLLECTION.
NORSEWOOD—TAMAKI AREA
BOUNDARIES DEFINED
Boundaries for tlie collection of cream by the Tamaki ami Norse wood dairy companies were fixed at a meeting which was held on Friday night. The meeting was the outcome ot a visit to the district earlier in the week by Mr D. Jones, a member ot tJie Executive Commission of Agriculture, when the directors of the three companies operating in the area, Norsewood, Tamaki, and United, had agreed to meet in an endeavour to define then boundaries. ~ . , . n At the meeting on Friday night tlieie were present the directors, managers, and secretaries of the Norsewood and Tamaki companies. Mr A. H. Hansen (chairman of the board of directors of the Tamaki company) was elected chairman and the matter was fully and amicablv debated. As a result of the agreement the cost of cream collection to both companies will be considerably reduced, with consequent benefit to the suppliers. A meeting at which an endeavour will be made to define tie boundaries between the Tamaki and the United companies will be held in all probability this week.
