FEILDING AERO CLUB
GRANT OF £IOO
The president of the Feilding Aero Club (Mr IX C. Cullinane) has received advice that the Minister of Defence has approved of a. further grant of £IOO towards the work of completing the lay-out of the Feilding Aero Club's property at Taonui. It is understood that the club required £l5O to complete tho work of grasssowing and also to metal the entrances to tho property, and had approached the Government for that sum. Tho reply received states that the. Government were prepared to grant £IOO provided the club found the balance.
Mr Cullinane expressed himself as being well pleased with the Government’s grant and the sympathetic hearing the club had been accorded. The grounds should be ready for flying purposes before the end of the year.
