CYCLING.
COUNTIES’ CASH CLUB. On Saturday the Counties’ Cash Cycle Club hekl its weekly road race, the course being to Ashlnirst and return. The race took the form of a sealed handicap and resulted as follows:—R. Davis (3min.), 38min. 44 sec., 1; E. Pedley (3min.), 38min. 44 2-ssec., 2; A. Ganderton (15sec.), 40 min. 49sec., 3. Fastest time was secured by J. Seelen, off scratch (41min. 4sec.). Also competed.—T. Jamieson (2j min.), A. Alexander (3min.), P. Sheridan (lmin.). Jamieson was unlucky to fall at AATiakarongo, and had to return to Palmerston North. Fortunately he was not hurt, nor was his cycle damaged to any extent.
