Further, there are a number of boys who attend regularly, but, owing to poor home circumstances, pay no fee whatever. Lads, also, who are under the supervision of the Child Welfare Officer —with whom the association is in close co-operation—receive the best services of the Y.M.C.A. gratis. Next Saturday, teams of lady collectors will be on. the street from 9 a.m. onwards to wait on the public with their badges in connection with the annual Red Triangle Day appeal for funds on behalf of the local Y.M.C.A. The Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Y.M.C.A. will have a well-stocked stall in the Square, from which bargains of all varieties will be offered.
