PAINFUL INJURIES.
AIYSTERIOUS EXPLOSION. Per Press Association. BLENHEIM, June 16. Serious burns to the head, shoulders, and chest, involving his eyes, were sustained by Donald Gill, aged 12, the 6011 of Air Richard Gill, a contractor, when a tin thought to have contained an explosive, went off in his band. The parents had just occupied the dwelling and the lad found the tin in a shed and struck it with disastrous results. He was admitted to hospital.
