THE DUSTIN TWINS.
TWO FINE SPORTSMEN. The twin sons of Mr and Mrs D. E. Dustin, of Wanganui, and formerly of Palmerston North, a photograph of whom appears on this pnge, were born in Palmerston North, where they were very well-known. Removing to Wellington whilst attending public school, they represented the Lyall Bay School in every branch of sport. Later, at Wellington College, they both excelled in sport. Both were Wellington Rugby representatives and played senior cricket, their resemblance in sporting attire causing many humorous incidents during matches. Flying-Officer D. L. Dustin has completed his short service commission in the R.A.F. and was married in Egypt recently to Miss Barbara Greenfields, of Wnlton-on-Thames, England. The other twin, W. H. (“Bill”) Dustin, is considered by many competent jiidges to he one of New Zealand’s best batsmen. His season’s average of 45.4, a ten years’ average of 39.6, and his record opening partnership with Dempster of 239, give him a chance of inclusion in the New Zealand team next year. The twins are nephews of Mr BV. S. Dustin, (rf Palmerston North.
