TRANSPORT PROPOSALS.
EXPLAINED BY MINISTER. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 14. A well-attended conference of transport operators met under the presidency of Mr D. Banchop to-day, when Hon* R. Semple outlined the views of the Government. 'The proposals were considered in committee and the Minister agreed to meet members of the conference to-morrow afternoon and hear any representations they may wish to make to him.
