Tho Government analyst’s investigations into the deaths of three of a Dunedin firms’s draught horsos by poisoning have established that the stable water trough contained a poison to the extent of 51.7 grains to tho gallon, a proportion of 30 grains to the gallon being sufficient to kill a horse. No trace of poison was found in the horses’ food.
