Major changes are shown this week on the liabilities side. The note issue at £10,134,663, shows a decrease of £122,799. Call liabilities to the State total £8,914,813, an increase of £437,955. Trading banks’ dejiosits show a decrease of £201,407, the total now bong £8,208,266, Other demand liabilities at £83,582 have decreased by £42,927. Other liabilities are £78,207, an increase of £917. On the assets side, sterling exchange is steady at £23,915,145, a decrease of £299. Gold remains unchanged at £2,301,733, and subsidiary coin at £203,065 is lower by £129. Investments at £1,816,663 have increased by £1275. Other assets total £182.926, an increase of £70,892. The statement balancos at £28,919,532 11s 9cl, an increase of £71,739 Is 4d.
