SCHOOLBOY KILLED
COLLISION WITH CAR. Per Press Association. DANNEVIRKE, Apirl 7. AVhile proceeding from Dannevirke after school to his home at Papatawa, Claude William Burlace, just under 14 years of age, a son of Mr William Leslie Burlace, was killed on a bridge on the main road near the Dannevirke ' racecourse through colliding with a motor-car driven by Mr Thomas William Raymond Skerratt, representative of an oil company, residing at Masterton, who was travelling to Dannevirke. The boy Burlace, in company with two other high school pupils, apparently suddenly swerved into the oncoming car. Death was practically instantaneous.
