BLIND INSTITUTE
SATISFACTORY YEAR. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 7. A very satisfactory year, with continued expansion in every department, was reported by the chairman of the board of trustees of the New Zealand Institute for the Blind (Mr A. J. Hutchinson) at the annual meeting of contributors. “The total number of blind persons throughout the Dominion with whom tlie Institute keeps in constant touch is now almost 1000,” said Mr Hutchinson. “The staff and blind members of tiie workshops have achieved a record •in the quantitv and value of goods. Sales have amounted to £13.328, an increaso of £483 on the previous year.”
