ST. ANDREW’S MEN’S CLUB.
An enjoyable time was spent bv the members of St. Andrew’s Church Men’s Club last evening, in the Memorial Hall, when they entertained members of All Saints’ Men’s Club. Dr. McDowall was in the chair and extended a welcome to the visitors. The following programme was submitted:—Address, “The Grab for Africa,” Mr 0. Doel, M.A.; instrumental item, the Reid family; scientific interlude. “Hybrid Vigour,” Mr «T. W. Hadfield, H.D.A.; vocal solo, Mr It. F. Packer; tap dance, Air Allan; story without words, Air H. Prince: humorous item, Mr G. Webb. The accompanist was Air F. McLachlan. Rev. J. Hubbard expressed pleasure at the presence of All Saints’ Club members and Air E. J. Whitehouse suitably replied. Supper, provided by the ladies, was served
The last of the evenings for this season will be held next month.
