ST. PETER’S CHURCH
SALE OF WORK
The annual sale of Work of St. ■Peter’s Church Ladies’ Guild was held in the Sunday school hall this afternoon, and it was anticipated that it would bring the customary generous response to the effort to raise funds. The stalls were decorated with peach blossom and looked very attractive, the guild, under their president (Mrs T. F. Fairbrofcliev) having carefully organised the function. Those in charge of the stalls were ns follow: Guild.—Mesdamcs J. Stevens, F. Day, W. L. Cutten and Malcolm. Fancy.—Mesdames H. White, C. It. liobotham and H. E. Parks. Sweets.—Mrs W. Coutts and helpers. Toys.—Mrs J. C. Johnson and Miss Johnson. Produce.—Mrs G. M. ltanson, and Misses D’Ath and ltanson. Flowers. —Mesdames F. Sollitt, It. McKenzie, W. Toogood, and Miss Lancaster. Cakes.—Mesdames F. Bennett, S. Meadley, Power, and Miss Newman. The tea-room was under the supervision of Mesdames B, Wnldegrave, T. Lancaster, \Y. G. Tiddy, A. E. Bloomfield, and Miss Parker. The competitions were controlled by Mr C. It. Robotham.
