RONGOTEA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) RONGOTEA, Sept. 12. Mr and Mrs Jack Bower left, Wellington yesterday by the Maui Pomare for Samoa. They received numerous messages and floral emblems from friends at a distance prior to their departure. Mrs and Miss J. Bower journeyed from Rongotea to say farewell. Mr T. McKay, of tho local exchange staff, left to-day on transfer to Blenheim. Mr R. G. Ridley will take over the duties ac the offico. , There was a sharp advance at yesterday s stock sale in the prices offered for weaner pigs and springing heifers; tho former went to 23s and tho latter to £6. Sir Francis Frazer, accompanied by several members of the Dairy Produce Board, visited tho Rongotea dairy factory to-day, and conferred with the chairman and directors of tho company.
