R.S.A. CLUBS

VISIT FROM WOODVILLE. A team of billiard players drawn from the ranks of the Woodville R.S.A. Club paid a visit to the’ Anzac Club last night to engage in a friendjy contest. The teams consisted of six men aside and billiards and snooker were engaged in, 125 up being played in the former, and 81 up in the latter. The honours on this occasion went to the visitors by a substantial margin, the Woodville members winning five of tho six billiard matches and four snooker matches to two. In the former section the visitors registered an aggregate of 726 points to 619, and 428 to 433 in the latter. The detailed results are as under, the Woodville players reading first: Billiards. —Charles 101 lost to Drinkwater 125; Strang 125 beat Smith 69, Maekie 125 beat Best 85, Annesen 125 beat Williams 109, Cross 125 beat Aitken 116, Gothard 125 beat Mortland 115. Snooker. —Charles 72 lost to Little 81, Strang 81 beat Voss 74, Gothard 81 beat Bee 77, Maekie 22 lost to Marvin 81, Annesen 81 beat O’Connell 61, Cross 81 beat Sandman 59.
