WOMEN’S INTERESTS.
DIVISION CONEERENCE. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 17. At the conference of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union, a remit, that the time had come when provincial executive representation only to the Dominion conference was necessary, was lost. Although a remit that proxy voting at the conference was lost, it was decided that a small committee should go into the matter and report to the next Julv conference. The life membership fee was reduced from £5 5s to £3 3s.
