LONGBURN.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) LONGBURN, June 1. On Friday afternoon the friends of Miss R. Marshall, whose marriage to Mr K. Langkilde takes place next week, tendered her a linen tea. Miss Marshall was the reccipicnt of many useful gifts for which she thanked the company. Among those present wore:—Misses L. Hearsay, L. M oddcll, I. Fell, M. Rowland, M. Johnston, V. Zurehcr, J. Hearsey, and 11. Rowland. Mr and Mrs D. Fraser have returned home after visiting Airs Gould, of Haweia.
