FEILDING SALE. Abraham and Williams. Ltd., report:— A heavy yarding of fat lambs was again submitted at the sale on Eriday and we report a strong sale, competition being keen throughout. Eat ewes were a shade easier than was the case the previous week, with practically no wethers being penned. An average yarding of stove sheep came forward, comprised principally of breeding ewes and bold-over hoggets. Breeding ewes were dull of sale on the average with the exception of .voting ewes. Store lambs sold on a par with the previous week’s rates. Eat cattle, which were comprised principally of dairy-brecl sorts, showed very little variation on the previous week's values. A light entry of dairy cows and heifers was submitted.' A good sale resulted for both cows and heifers close to profit. A good yarding of runbred cattle came forward, some good sales resulting in this department, especially for 20-inonths and 24-year B.A. steers for boldover purposes. Boiler cows sold freely at late rates. The X.Z. Karmens’ <‘o-op. Dist. Coy., Lkl.’s report on the Fcilding sale is:—A full yarding of good quality lambs met with good competition, the bulk of the offering being purchased by exporters, and prices were up Is per head on the previous week’s sale. A short yarding of fat sheep was well competed for and values were slightly firmer. The demand for in-lamb ewes was slack and little business was done at auction in this section. Store lambs continue in firm demand, with prices well maintained. Fat and store run cattle met with a dragging sale.
