RATES AND THE CROWN.
Per Press Association. WAIPUKURAU, March 12. The Patangata County Council, at its monthly meeting at Waipukurau to-day, supported the overture of the Christchurch City Council protesting against the clause in the Mortgage Corporation Bill giving power to the Crown to repudiate the liability for rates on reverted properties.
