FOXTON.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) FOXTON, Nov. 12.
Miss E. Barber is visiting Mr and Mrs Bennett, formerly of Oroua Downs and now of Wanganui. At a meeting of the Foxton Girl Guide and Brownie Association Committee, Mrs S. Austin offered to hold a garden party at her residence in aid of the Brownie funds. It was decided to hold a Brownie Church parade on December 2. Miss M. Barron, who is going to Melbourne to a Girl Guide jamboree, was presented with a pair of leather gauntlet gloves and was entertained to afternoon tea.
