FEILDING SALE.

The New Zealand Fanners’ Co-op. PCt. Coy., Ltd., report as follows on the Fcilding sale yesterday:—At the supplementary cattle fair approximately 2500 cattle were

j-arded. The prices for station cattle wore better than anticipated, and practically the whole of the offering was sold under the hammer. There was a good yarding of fat cattle, and prices for good quality beef wore firm at late rates. Eat sliee'p were a shade easier. Ew'O and wether hoggets sold well. There was a very small offering of dairy cattle and these sold at late rates. Quotations. —Store Cattle: Yly P.A. steers, £2 Bs, £2 10s, £2 19s, £3 15s; ylg P.A. heifers, 27s 6d, 31s, 355, 38s 6d, £2, £2 7s 6d; P.A. cows, £2 7s, £3, £3 Is 3d, £3 9s, £3los; 2yr P.A. steers, £4 to £4 15s; P.A. bullocks, £5 13s, £5 18s, £5 19s; Hereford bullocks, £5 15s to £5 19s.
