. STATION CATTLE SOUGHT,

Although the yarding was of very large dimensions at the Feilding sale this morning, there was an excellent inquiry for station cattle and the sale went well from the start. Fat sheep held their recent levels of values and a smaller yarding of dairy stock brought fair values. Prices up to 1 o’clock were as follow: Station Cattle.—3-year Hereford steers, £4 14s to £5 3s; 2-year Hereford and P.A. steers, £4 8s; 3-year Hereford heifers, £3 11s; 2-year P.A. steers, £4 9s; Slyear P.A. steers, £4 14s; 4-year Holstein bullock, £4 17s; 3-year Shorthorn steers, £4 12s; 2year m.c. steers, £4 10s; 4-year P.A. bullocks, £5 13s, £5 18s; 4-year Hereford bullocks, £5 19s.
