FEILDING SALE.
. STATION CATTLE SOUGHT,
Although the yarding was of very large dimensions at the Feilding sale this morning, there was an excellent inquiry for station cattle and the sale went well from the start. Fat sheep held their recent levels of values and a smaller yarding of dairy stock brought fair values. Prices up to 1 o’clock were as follow: Station Cattle.—3-year Hereford steers, £4 14s to £5 3s; 2-year Hereford and P.A. steers, £4 8s; 3-year Hereford heifers, £3 11s; 2-year P.A. steers, £4 9s; Slyear P.A. steers, £4 14s; 4-year Holstein bullock, £4 17s; 3-year Shorthorn steers, £4 12s; 2year m.c. steers, £4 10s; 4-year P.A. bullocks, £5 13s, £5 18s; 4-year Hereford bullocks, £5 19s. Fat Sheep.—Wethers, 21s sd, 23s to 24s 3d; lambs, 22s 6d to 24s 9d ; ewes, 14s 2d, 15s 9d to 19s 6d ; b.f. 2 tbs, 20s, 22s 8d; hoggets. 19s, 20s 6d, 21s 9d, 22s 4d, 23s 7d, 24s 6d to 26s 3d., Dairv Cattle.— Springing heifers, £2 5s £2 17s 6d, £3 10s to £4 ss; springing cows, £2, £3 15s to £o; beifei, in milk, £2 17s 6d.
