Teviot Downs and Sea Gift were followed into the straight by New Metford, Cannonball and King’s Voyage. In the run homo Sea Gift heat Teviot Downs by a length, New Metford a length and a half away. With six furlongs to cover, Gold Tinge led from Silver de Oro, Sunny Morn, Wrecker, Kingcraft, Sir Guy, Harvest Child and Worthy Light. Three furlongs from home Silver de Oro was in charge from Sunny Morn, Gold Tinge and Wrecker, Silver de Oro led to the distance, where Worthy Light came fast on the outside and won by a length from Sir Guy, with Silver de Oro a neck away. Sunnj' Morn was fourth. Times : 4.23, 4.19 1-5, 4.21 2-5. ELLESMERE HANDICAP, of £3OO ; 2.47 class. One mile and a quarter.

Harold Logan led out from Impromptu and Pegaway, and passing tho first halfmile Impromptu led Harold Logan, Pogaway, Roi l’Or, and Red Shadow. Impromptu and Pegaway led Harold Logan down tho back, but with a mile and a quarter covered Harold Logan just headed Roi l’Or from Impromptu, Red Shadow, Rollo, and Lindbergh. Roi l’Or led Harold Logan down the back, and these two were followed into the straight by Rod Shadow and Impromptu. Harold Logan drew out in the run home and won by lour lengths from Roi l’Or,( Red Shadow a similar distance away. Impromptu was fourth. Times: 4.17 2-5, 4.18 2-5, 4.19 2-5..
