GOVERNOR PRESENTS TROPHY. ROYAL AND ANCIENT TEAM’S VISIT. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Sept. 11. Lord Bledisloe has presented to the New Zealand Golf Association a challenge cup for annual competition. The council lias decided that the trophy, which will be known as the Bledisloe Cup, be held by the amateur player returning the best aggregate in the four rounds of the open championship in which it will be competed for. The secretary of the New Zealand Golf Association has received cable I advice from London that all members! of the Royal and Ancient golf team have agreed to visit New Zealand and that the Australian itinerary has not yet been fixed. Further advice is expected within a week.
