What can be accomplished with some energy and enthusiasm is evidenced at the local Recreation Ground. The Basketball and Tennis Clubs joined forces, with the result that an area large enough for basketball has been put down with bitumen. .The area at present is being used for tennis and it is hoped to increase it to provide room for two courts. In addition to the bitumen there are two grass courts being used for tennis. Much of the success of the effort is due to Messrs E. J. Bowater, Ken Lumsden and C. Sanson.
