FULL DAMAGES.
AWARD TO WIDOW. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Oct. 30. Compensation amounting to £IOOO, and medical and funeral expenses of £SO, the full amounts claimed, together' with costs totalling £22 Is, were awarded by Mr Justice Fraser in the Arbitration Court yesterday to Jessie Smart, widow, of Wellington, against tile Wellington Publishing Company. The claim was a result of her husband, Andrew Smart, a computer, aged 67, falling down a flight of stairs while in the employ of the defendant company. The amount of compensation will bo less a sum of money already paid.
