(From Our Own! Correspondent.) $ ASIfHURST, Oct. 50. A very pleasant craning was spent at the home of Mrs H. llorrett, on Thursday last, when a number lof friends gathered to celebrate the coiliing-of-ago of her elder son Joseph. The! rooms were tastefully decorated with stiramers and flowers and the time was spent! with dancing ana games, tho winners of alMohm Carlo waltz being Miss D. Mitchell rind Mr J.vßorrott. Music was supplied by wireless and gramophone, with extras by Miss S. Read. Tho guests wore entertained to a dainty supper, the duties of toast-master being capably carried out by MrlW. R. Smith.
