REICHSTAG TRIAL.
SEARCHING QUESTIONS. Received October 28, 2.10 p.m. BERLIN, Oct. 27. Dimitroff’s searching questions to Kroyer, the Austrian-Nazi, repeatedly embarrassed the Court at the Reichstag fire trial. Ivroyer gave evidence in support of Karwaline and identified Van der Lubbe as Torgler’s companion in the Communist room on the day of the fire. Dimitroff persistenly questioned Kroyer. The President, intervening, said to Kroyer: “Please do not excite yourself.. I shall reject Dimitroff’s questions anyhow.”
