TECHNICAL SCHOOL.
PLEASANT DANCE FUNCTION. As a means of maintaining an association between past pupils and their Alma Alater, and of bringing them into contact with the present scholars, tire social committee of the Technical School has conducted throughout the winter months a series of fortnightly dances in their splendid new assembly hall. The last of the series for the present season was held on Saturday night, when there was a very fair attendance of patrons, who spent a most enjoyable time dancing to music provided by Air C. Davis. The ladies’ committee, which included Alcsdames A. N. Beattie, W. Peters and T. Ellery, supervised the supper and general arrangements to the complete satisfaction of all. It is the intention of the director (Air G. G. Hancox) to hold the functions again next season, when it is hoped that they will prove to be even more popular than in their initial season.
