Miss Gwenda McHardy, of “Arimoana,” Waipawa, is visiting her sister, Mrs L. Bale, of College Street. Mrs C. A. E. Ferguson and Miss Dorothy Ferguson, formerly of Palmerston North, aro on a visit to the city and are the guests of Mrs C. F. Spooner. Mrs H. E; Pacey (president of the Methodist Women’s Missionary Union of New Zealand) and Airs H. Nicolson (secretary), Wellington, are visiting Dunedin for the annual conference of the union. Aliss Gwen Blamires, formerly headmistress of the High School at Nukalofa, Tonga, was in Feilding over the ,week-end. She was accompanied by her mother, Airs H. J. Blamires, of Christchurch. Miss Blamires spoke at. the Feilding Alethodist Church on Sunday. Airs L. A. Dawber, of Palmerston North, spent a few days with Mr and Airs Eric Pees, Surbiton, Surrey, prior to leaving for New Zealand on the Esperance Bay on October 11. Air and Airs Pees were formerly residents of Palmerston North. >
