EVEREST LOG SEIZED.
INDIAN OFFICIALS’ ACTION. The Indian police have seized the log books of D. S. Richards, wireless operator with the recent Everest climbing expedition, and have forwarded them, under Government instructions, to the Postmaster-General. Richards has applied to a Calcutta magistrate for the log books, which he declares are private property. Developments are expected.
