DUNCAN BEATS JEFFIUES,

BLENHEIM, Sept. 26. John Duncan (Wellington) defeated James Jeffries (Marlborough) in the final of the provincial golf championship, 5-4. Iu spite of a.wind, Duncan played a steady game, taking 56 strokes for the 14 holes played, and he appeared set to return a bogey score. AERO CLUB. On Wednesday afternoon there will be a. competition bv the Aero Golf Club commencing at 1.30 p.m. The draw is as follows:
