SOCIAL FUNCTIONS
On Friday evening the final card party of the series was conducted at the Manawatu Bowling,. Croquet and Tennis Club’s pavilion, when there was an excellent attendance. Flag bridge was played and those at the winning table were Mrs Gibbs and Mr and Mrs Jamieson. The hostesses for the occasion were Mesdames Robertson and Shelton, and a very pleasant evening was spent.
