PERSONAL.
Mr ,J: R. Hughes (city engineer) is at present ill with influenza. Mr C. N. Eabono is also indisposed, and is confined to bis home. Mr IV. J. Poison, M.P., of Stratford, president of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union, was a visitor to Palmerston North for a brief period to-day, and left this afternoon for Turakina.
