MINING DISPUTE.
TROUBLE AT LITIIGOW. Received September 23, 1.10 p.m. SYDNEY, Sept. 23. One hundred and fifty miners and others employed at the Hermitage Colliery, Lithgow, have received notice of dismissal following a dispute over the suspension of a miner ' who was allegedly filling stone with coal. This is the second case in a week and the unionists demand the re-in-statement of the second man, declaring that the coal was not excessively “dirty.”
