SUDDEN STRIKE.

SYDNEY FELLMONGERS. Received September 23, 8.10 a.m. SYDNEY, Sept. 23. The fellmongering industries of Sydney last evening were plunged into chaos by the sudden strike of 750 employees at the five principal Botany fellmongeries. The dispute is due to the refusal of the employers to restore the 10 per cent, wage “cut” imposed some time ago by the Court. The busiest time of the year was selected for the hold-up and the emp'oyers declare that if the strike lasts lor three days 70,000 skins, valued at £35,000, will be rendered worthless.
