The total receipts of the Auckland Prosperity Fund amounted to £10,090. The expenses amounted to £1451, and the organiser’s commission £225, leava net balance of £9232. Rev. T. Halliday reported that 28,000 applications for assistance had been dealt with at an average cost of 10s 9d each.
