PERSONAL.
The friends of Air L. Thompson, of Glen Oroua, will leiirn with regret of his illness and will wish him a speedy recovery to health. We are pleased to state that Air H. Billens, senr., who has had a severe heart attack, is now out of danger. He is having a complete rest and hopes to be about again shortly. In the House of Representatives, Air W. Downie Stewart and Air AV. Nash were granted seven days’ leave of absence on account of public service, and Mr T. Henare was granted four days’ leave of absence on account of illness in his family. Air Frederick John Glover Collett, of the Dannevirke engineering firm of Alessrs Collett and Son, died on AA’ednesday, at the age of 44 years. Air Collett was associated with a number of Dannevirke activities, being a member of the Oddfellows’ Lodge, the Dannevirke Old Boys’ Rugby Football Club, and of the Dannevirke High School Old Pupils’ Association. He is survived by liis widow and three children.
